Players from most Far East, Near East, and African countries, as well as several East European countries need visas for Costa Rica.  These should be obtained prior to arrival in Costa Rica or the person may be denied entry into the country.  There is a Costa Rican  consulate in Miami as well as Mexico.  It is the responsibility of each player or country delegation to enquire about visa requirements. Players going on to Venezuela or other countries may need visas.  The Organizing Committee will provide the phone number and address of the Venezuelan Consulate in Costa Rica upon request but will not provide any other assistance.  Please remember there are many holidays during the week of the Copa del Café so players needing visas should plan accordingly.
