Rules of HospitalityWe welcome you to the 51st Edition of the Coffee Bowl - Copa del Café at the Costa Rica Country Club in Escazú, Costa Rica. Hotel hospitality commences Sunday night January 4, 2015 for Main Draw players and official coaches nominated by national federations in a timely manner and who accompany their national teams, with a maximum of 2 coaches per federation, one coach for boys and one coach for girls. Players and coaches participating in the Qualifying Tournament must pay their own lodging.
Hospitality will end the day after the player is eliminated. Hospitality includes lodging and meals (breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner at the Costa Rica Country Club). Players and coaches must pay their own bar, telephone, laundry, and other hotel charges and should establish their own credit for these additional hotel services.
Players will be lodged in double or triple occupancy, while official coaches may be lodged in a single room. Players wishing to occupy a single room may do so if he/she pays 50% of the lodging bill but only for the standard room rate.
In order for the Organizing Committee to pay for the hotel, all players (or coaches of national teams) must register with the Committee at the Club, indicating the room number in the hotel and the names of roommates. We are happy to have once again the Hotel Corobicí Crowne Plaza as the Coffee Bowl hotel for 2015. The Corobicí is located at Sabana Norte on the western edge of San José, adjacent to the Autopista General Cañas, about 5 km from the tournament site at the Costa Rica Country Club

Special Rate: US$87.00 per night
The rate available to Coffee Bowl participants is US$87.00 per night (rate of US$77.00 + 13% tax). It should be noted that to obtain this rate the player/coach should specify that they are participants in the Copa del Café / Coffee Bowl when making reservations; otherwise the hotel will charge a higher rate.
An executive room option is also available for US$113.00 (US$100.00+13% tax), but the difference in rate must be covered by the players/coaches.
Transportation from the airport to the Corobicí Crowne Plaza Hotel, and to the airport upon departure, will be the responsibility of each player/coach. The hotel offers airport pick up if flight details are advised in a timely manner, at a cost of US$12 per person. Another option is to take an official airport taxi (orange color). These are available as players/coaches exit the airport building on the left. These taxis are safe and reliable and the cost is approximately US$25 which may be desireable for a party of several people. For more than two people, ask for a van which can easily transport 4 or 5 passengers plus gear. Any official taxi driver will know the location of the Corobicí Crowne Plaza at La Sabana in San José.
Transport to and from the tournament site will be provided with schedules to be posted. Taxis will also be available at the hotel.
Meals will be provided by the Organizing Committee only for players still alive in the singles and doubles Main Draw, and for their respective official coaches. Breakfast will be provided at the Corobicí Crowne Plaza Hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served at the Costa Rica Country Club in the second floor area.
Sunday night dinner (4 January 2015) will be offered at the Costa Rica Country Club with hours to be posted.
Remember to specify that you are participants in the Coffee Bowl / Copa del Café in order to receive the special rate.
