The deadline for entry into the 48th version of the Copa del Café in January 2012 closed on 12 December 2011. The tournament received a total of 341 entries, 206 for boys and 135 for girls. These entries represented a record 59 countries.
The totals are of course now reduced as players who have no realistic possibility of entry, or who cannot attend the tournament for various reasons, withdraw. This process has reduced both boys and girls acceptance lists to the present levels that can be viewed by clicking in the adjacent box. The boys list must still pare down considerably as player slots are limited to 32 in the qualy and 56in the Main Draw (plus 8 slots from the qualy). But the girls list at this time assures that all players on the acceptance list will play in either the MD or qualy. |
