After two days with 64 matches each programmed, the Day 3 Wednesday schedule of play reduces to 32 matches, 16 singles in round 3 play and 16 doubles in round 2. Additionally the U14 program commences in the 4 west courts with a very full schedule for boys and girls.

Round 3 of the Boys Singles was lively as 11 of the 16 slots were filled by seeded players. Five of these advanced to the quarterfinals, including the no.´s 1, 2, and 3 seeds Alberto LIM (PHI) ranked 12, Ulises BLANCH (USA) ranked 16, and Zeke CLARK (USA) ranked 67. But none of these wins, although in straight sets, was easy as all 3 were stretched by fighting opponents. The night match of LIM over Olukayode AYENI (USA) was particularly memorable as AYENI´s bullet serve was finally broken by the Philippine player who demonstrates incredible agility from anywhere on the court. Unseeded interlopers Kyrylo TSYGURA (USA) from the Qualy and Jaimee ANGEL (FRA) continue to surprise with their presence in the quarterfinals. The remaining 3 players in the Boys Main Draw are Jeffrey WOLF (USA) seeded 10 and ranked 97, Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine (FRA) seeded 11 and ranked 99, and unseeded Juan Martin JALIF (ARG) ranked 200.

In the Girls Main Draw only 8 of the 16 players were seeded. No. 1 Amanda ANISIMOVA (USA) is one of these but seeds 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, and 13 were all out by Round 3, so that the Girls Singles is wide open. Amanda ranked no. 40 is one of the youngest players in the draw, born in 2001, and she bested Victoria EMMA (USA) in 3 sets. The other seeds advancing to the quarterfinals were Ellie DOUGLAS (USA) seeded 14, Hurricane BLACK (USA) seeded 10, and Dominique SCHAEFER (PER) seeded 8. SCHAEFER is ranked 128 but had her hands full with Taylor BRIDGES (USA) ranked 1412. BRIDGES is a wild card and plays beyond her ranking as she has experience in other tournaments but not many ITF sanctioned. Two unseeded Italians, Tatiana PIERI and Maria Vittoria VIVIANI, also advanced as they took the place of seeds 9 and 2 whom they had dispatched earlier. The other players advancing were Malene HELGO (NOR) and Nicole ANDERSON (USA).

Second round Doubles reduced each draw to 8 teams. On the Boys side 6 of 8 seeds advanced, including the HOLM / LINDBERGET duo who vanquished their fellow Scandinavian travel mates. Six of the eight matches went down in straight sets. In Girls Doubles 7 of 8 seeded tandems advanced and all matches were played in straight sets.
