2010 Girls Final Preview

This year we see [5] Monica PUIG (PUR) vs [6] An-Sophie MESTACH (BEL).

Monica Puig from Purto Rico has had the tougher draw of the two finalist with wins over the #1 and #3 seeds, she also has a higher ranking and seed than her opponent An-Sophie Mestach of Belgium. Monica was also a finalist in Casablanca in Mexico the previous week.

An-Sophie Mestash on the other hand has had a easier run but did have a big semi final win against the #4 seed Veronica Cepede Royg of Paraguay. She has the busiest schedule of all remaining players with a finals berth in both this match and the Girls Doubles Final later this evening.

It took both players 3 sets to make the final. See them on Stadium Court this evening at 5pm local time.
